All About Me...

My name is Elizabeth (or Liz) Sederquist and I am a recent resident of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. My family and I moved here from California, 8 months ago. I am married to a wonderful man and have an adorable son, whom I love with all my heart.

I am in the process of establishing my day care in the quaint town of Shrewsbury. I am currently working towards a Masters degree in School Guidance Counseling. I have both, an Associates of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology. In addition, I have a Massachusetts teaching certificate.

The reason I have chosen childcare as a profession is because I enjoy working with children, I am exceptional with them and respect them as individuals. It also, affords me the opportunity to stay home with my own child, contribute to the family income and the fulfillment of owning my own business. I am licensed for 6 full-time children in my home. My license number is # 185332. I am CPR and first aid certified.

I enjoy working with children of all ages and because of this, my experiences are many. My own mother had a daycare during my younger years. I helped her out, before and after school and loved it. During college I worked 3 years for a woman (Carloyn Taylor) who had a care home with 9 children, ages 18 months through 12 years of age. I have been teacher aides in both kindergarten and 4th grade. My last position held in California was a 3rd grade teacher, in which I taught for 2 years before my move across the U.S..

As a professional, my priority with your children is to offer "quality" childcare, so you as parents, feel comfortable and secure with making your decision and with having your child(ren) in my care.
